My Own Spiritual Journey

This is my own belief policy according to my own spiritual journey. This is how I believe at the present moment, and it may change as I learn new things on my spiritual and life journey.

I believe in The Divine, as the ground of my being and existence, in Him/Her I live and I am and I come into being.

That the Divine does not necessarily exist or does not exist, but that its principle is alive in my heart and my mind.

I believe that the Divine includes me and echoes in the dance of Father, Mother, and Son/Daughter, and the rhythmic song of life in the passages of my soul.

This Divine is woven into what is called reality and inextricably part of it.

I also believe in the femininity of God as my Mother, in the form of the Sophia the Spirit, who with compassion and love (as only a mother can) works in me to love and care for those I deal with every day and get to do.

I also believe in myself and my own abilities to deal with my fellow human beings with compassion and love. To achieve my goals in life, embrace my humanity and look at life with new eyes every day.

And if I fail and lose perspective, I believe in the power of getting up and trying again, as the metaphorical example of Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection teaches me.

I also believe that the power of forgiveness, gratitude, silent prayer, and meditation facilitates the journey within, the discovery of the True Self, and the shedding of the false self (ego).

I believe that the historical Jesus did exist and led a group of people to find God's kingdom within themselves.

I believe that Jesus was an enlightened Master just like Buddha, Mohammed, Lau Tsu, and Krishna and that there were many others to bring the journey of enlightenment to the world.

I believe that Christ has already come, and lives on in the awareness of every person who has seen the light, discovered themselves and as an enlightened person sees the world differently from the dogmatic and religious ones.

I believe in the Mystic and that the unknown and the known mingle with the rhythmic flow of life and when I get quiet enough in my day, I can hear the gentle call of the Divine in my mind, above the noise and the storms of life.

I believe that good is mixed with evil, beautiful is combined with ugly, and sickness and death are inseparable part of what we call life.

Heaven and Hell are here and now and these are changing states of consciousness and that every day I have to work with a little more dedication and insight to realize a piece of heaven here on earth.

If you want to travel with me you are welcome, but keep in mind that this is my journey, it makes sense to me.

We can keep each other company until we both get to the other side of the shore.

Thank you, see the Divine in me and honor the Divine in you.
