WHEN GOD SPEAKS

When God speaks in the still small voice.

The prophet was going through a life crisis, which led him into a cave. The best route to self-discovery is through a cave for a cave speaks of being secluded, being cut off so to speak, from the noise of everyday living. Looking back from years of hardship, forsaken by others, persecuted, miss- understood, and alone. Three manifestations, forms, and types of occurrences happened to him, whilst being in that place,  wind, earthquake, and fire, let our clarification of the narrative call that a place of seeking, searching for answers, the meaning of life, and God.

The wind, the earthquake, and the fire were all outward manifestations wherein we are sometimes looking for God, answers, and the meaning of life.  The big things, the religions, the perceptions, the grandiose philosophies, But scripture says there-in God was not found.

The still small voice, no big thing, no shaking of the earth no burning of leaves, just stillness, the free dictionary defines stillness as the absence of sound or noise: hush, noiselessness, quiet, quietness, silence, soundlessness, still.  An absence of motion or disturbance: calm, calmness, hush, lull, peace, peacefulness, placidity, placidness, quiet, quietness, serenity, tranquillity, untroubledness.

Meditating on that, 
brought me to a realization that, only through stillness, the small still voice of God, the answer to all your questions, the meaning of life can be found. Through the small voice of stillness or the still small voice of God, Infinite Intelligence, Source, JHVH Ha- Shem (By whichever name you wish to seek Him) comes the serenity the absence of motion or disturbance: calm, calmness, hush, lull, peace, peacefulness, placidity, placidness, quiet, quietness, serenity, tranquillity, untroubledness of being aware of Presence and conscious of God, which is your Higher Self and your true Being.

Take a moment, go to the cave (your inner self)  let the storm, the earthquake the fire pass, and wait for the still small voice..................
